THE DEVELOPMENT OF LEARNING BOOKS READING ARCS-BASED CREATIVE CRITICAL (ATENTTION, RELEVANCE, CONVIDENCE, SATISFACTION) AS A PLEASANT ALTERNATIVE MATERIAL

Abstract


Critical Reading and Creative reading lessons have been developed with ARCS (Attention, Relevance, Convidence and satisfaction). Development of ARCS-based textbooks needs to be applied to present a fun lesson. It certainly has an impact on the learning process of learning. The purpose of this article is to provide an overview of the importance of developing ARCS-based textbooks.The development of textbooks Creative Critical Reading with ARCS contains four components: awakening and attention to students' attention during learning (Attention), using subject matter that is relevant to student life (Relevance), instilling confidence, satisfied to students of learning (Satisfaction).Through the development of Critical Reading and Creative books based on ARCS is expected to be a fun textbook for students. It certainly can increase students' knowledge in understanding the reading technique. Interest of the students on reading material is increasing.
