Development of The Learning Sign System Media to Improve The Result Learn of Students Light Vehicle Engineering Competence

Abstract


This study aimed to: 1) developing the learning media visual aids to improve the study result of student on sign system competence at SMK automotive, 2) know the feasibility of learning media visual aids to improve the study result on sign system competence at SMK automotive, 3) know the study result after use the learning media visual aids on sign system competence at SMK automotive. This research is research and development. The result of this research show that : 1) the process of making learning media sign system formed stand and based on analysis the problem and adapted with the need so, expected can make a media that ready to use. Development steps of learning media sign system on the student grade XI TKR SMK PN 2 Purworejo have included searching of problem potential, collecting information, product design, validation design, reparation design, testing product, trial product, uses testing and revise product., 2) result of design validation by subject specialist  or media specialist, testing on the small group and uses testing product show that product  can be used as learning media, 3) result of t-test with the error  5% prove that the learning media is effective to improve the study result (thitung = 5,226 >ttabel = 1.708)  student grade XI TKR SMK PN 2 Purworejo. Learning media can be used in teaching as media to improve the study result, because on the big group test with the 25 student is success to improve the study result of student.
