Abstract

Numeracy literacy skills are the ability to use, interpret and communicate mathematics in various contexts of daily life. Numeracy literacy involves the skills to understand mathematical concepts and operations, as well as the ability to apply this understanding to solve practical problems. This research aims to analyse the development of problem solving-based e-modules in improving students' numeracy literacy skills through the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach. This SLR includes the collection, evaluation and analysis of relevant studies published between 2016 and 2023. The results of the review show that problem solving-based e-modules are effective in increasing students' numeracy literacy. This module helps students develop critical and analytical thinking skills through contextual and applied problem solving. In addition, the use of technology in the form of e-modules allows for more interactive and flexible learning, so that students can learn according to their own pace and learning style. This study also identified important factors that influence the success of e-module implementation, such as module design, student involvement, and support from teachers. These findings indicate that the integration of problem solving-based e-modules into the curriculum can make a significant contribution to increasing students' numeracy literacy.
