THE ANALYSIS OF ENGLISH CLASSROOM MANAGEMENT IN SMPNLUAR BIASA KEBUMEN IN THE ACADEMIC YEAR OF 2017/2018
Abstract
The aim of this research is to know the English classroom management in SMPNLuarBiasaKebumen. It
is a descriptive qualitative research and it focuses on classroom management system. The descriptive
research is to describe or interpret the condition of situation from the data by using interview transcription
and observation the classroom management in SMPNLuarBiasaKebumen. The result of the analysis is to
describe or explain in detail about the English classroom management in deaf class. In this research, the
steps done by the researcher are deciding the location of the research, making permission to do the
research, preparing a supporting instrument, and making a note during observation and interview. From
the research findings, the researcher got the result that the aspects of physical environment in the deaf
class are inappropriate such as there are no fan, LCD, screen, audio/other visual media, and having
unconditioned noise management.In the deaf class, almost all the components already fulfill the standard
of positive climate and standard of effective classroom management. Furthermore, the teacher uses
traditional seating arrangement and the teacher divided the students’ position based on the level of
students’ deafness.
