PENINGKATAN HASIL BELAJAR TENDANGAN DEPAN DALAM PENCAK SILAT MELALUI PENGGUNAAN ALAT BANTU PEMBELAJARAN PADA SISWA KELAS VIII E SMP NEGERI 1 ADIPALA TAHUN AJARAN 2018/2019

Abstract


This research is meant to improve students’ learning achievement tendangan depan in pencak silat of VIII E class students of SMP Negeri 1 Adipala 2018/2019 by using supportive learning media. This research is conducted in a form of Classroom Action Research (CAR) and consists of two cycles which include planning, action, observation, and reflection in each cycle. The subjects of this research are 33 students of VIII E class of SMP Negeri 1 Adipala  consisting of seventeen male students and sixteen female students. The data of the research are taken from teachers and students. The data are collected by observing and assessing students’ learning achievement. The data are analyzed by using descriptive technique based on qualitative description of precentage.  The data analysis result are described from the pre-action stage to the first cycle and from the first cycle to the second cycle. In the pre-action stage, the students had not shown a god result with 27,27% or nine students from 33 students categorized as fair, while 24 students of 33 or 72,73% students categorized as lacking, and 0% is very lacking. In the first cycle, no one or 0% includes in very good category, the precentage of the good category has reached 18,18% or about 16 students of 33 students, 51,52% or about 17 students are fair, 30,30% or about 10 students are lacking, 0% or no one is very lacking. From the data of the first cycle, it reveals that there are 23 students pass and 10 students do not pass. In the second cycle, the very good category remains the same with 0%, 39,40% or 13 students of 33 students are good. 16 students or 48,48% are fair, only four students or 12,12% called lacking, and 0% for very lacking category. The data of second cycle show that there are 29 students who pass the minimum grade and 4 students do not pass. From the research, it can be concluded that the use of supportive learning media successfully improves students’ learning achievement of pencak silat tendangan depan of VIII E class student of SMP Negeri 1 Adipala  2018/2019.
