FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG MEMPENGARUHI KEBERHASILAN PROGRAM ASURANSI USAHATANI PADI (AUTP) DI KABUPATEN KULON PROGO

Abstract

The research aims to determine the success of the program Asuransi Usaha Tani Padi (AUTP), and the factors affecting the success of the AUTP program. The location of the research is determined purposive in Kulon Progo Regency, Special region of Yogyakarta (DIY) with consideration as the region that has been participating the most farmers in the AUTP Program in 2015. Samples of farmers were taken with the technique of disproportional stratified random sampling as many as 100 farmers whose group got and did not get the claim, and 10 chiefs of farmer groups. Data is analyzed using descriptive analysis, achievement of scores, and correlation Rank Spearman. The results of the study showed that the overall AUTP program in Kulon Progo in the farmer group got claim and did not get the claim was successful. While the success of the AUTP program on farmers who get claims and farmers who do not get claims include less success.  The factors influencing the success of the AUTP program on the farmer group that claim is the intensity of the meeting and the availability of cash, but the success of the AUTP program on the farmer group does not claim to be the area of group land and group members. Farming Income, farming experience, age, and land area are factors that affect the success of the AUTP program on farmers who claim. While the success of the AUTP program on farmers who do not get claims is only influenced by the income of farming and group land area.
