THE INFLUENCE OF CLASSROOM MANAGEMENT ON STUDENTS’ ENGLISH ACHIEVEMENT AT THE ELEVENTH GRADE STUDENTS OF SMK N 1 PURWOREJO IN THE ACADEMIC YEAR OF 2016/2017
Abstract
ABSTRACT
The aim of this research was to find out whether or not there is positive and significant influence of classroom
management on students’ English achievement at the eleventh grade students of SMK N 1 Purworejo in the
academic year of 2016/2017. In this research, 31 students were selected to be samples based on purposive
sampling technique. In collecting the data, the researcher used questionnaire and document. The result of data
analysis revealed that there was positive and significant influence of classroom management on students’
English achievement at the eleventh grade students of SMK N 1 Purworejo in the academic year of 2016/2017.
Further, the result of regression analysis revealed that the value of R² was 0.2470 which means that students’
English achievement was 24.70% determined by their classroom management through Ŷ = 17.29 + 0.75(X)
equation and 75.30 % was affected by other factors.
