This study aimed to describe: (1) a novel structure Edensor and 5 CM; (2) Similarities and differences in the structure of the novel Edensor and 5 CM; (3) assessment of novel Edensor intertextual and 5 CM; and (4) the educational value of novel Edensor and 5 CM. This study used a qualitative approach deskripsif intertextuality which are preceded by a structural approach. The data source is a novel Edensor and 5 CM. The sample in this study were taken by purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques using document analysis techniques. Data analysis technique used is the analysis flow. the research findings with textual studies showed that both the novel: (1) the structure of the novel consists of a theme, point of view, characterization, setting, plot, and mandate; (2) The structure of the equation in the form of both novel theme. Both novels have the same theme, namely to achieve their dreams and ideals. Related to the groove, the second novel uses a mix of groove, the viewpoint of both novel uses first person perspective "confession". The second difference is the viewpoint novel. The second mandate novel to dare aspire and strive for the goal, but the novel also mandate tentnag 5cm friendship accept what is. Background of the novel Edensor in Europe, while the 5cm novel set in Jakarta. (3) The results of the study it can be concluded that the novel intertextual Edensor is hipogram, while 5cm represents a transformation; (4) the value of education contained in Edensor novel and 5cm namely: the value of education unyielding and hard worker.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan: (1) struktur novel Edensor  dan 5 CM; (2) Persamaan dan perbedaan struktur novel Edensor dan 5 CM; (3) kajian intertekstual antara novel Edensor  dan 5 CM; dan (4) nilai pendidikan novel Edensor  dan 5 CM. Penelitian ini menggunakan deskripsif kualitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan intertekstualitas yang sebelumnya didahului dengan pendekatan structural. Sumber data adalah novel Edensor  dan 5 CM. Sampel dalam penelitian ini diambil dengan teknik purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik analisis dokumen. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis mengalir. hasil temuan penelitian dengan kajian intertekstual menunjukkan bahwa kedua novel tersebut: (1) struktur kedua novel terdiri atas tema, sudut pandang, penokohan, latar, alur, dan amanat; (2) persamaan struktur kedua novel tersebut berupa tema. Kedua novel mempunyai tema yang sama yaitu meraih mimpi dan cita-cita.. Terkait dengan alur, kedua novel menggunakan alur campuran, sudut pandang kedua novel menggunakan sudut pandang orang pertama “akuan”. Perbedaan kedua novel yaitu sudut pandang. Amanat kedua novel untuk berani bercita-cita dan berusaha keras mewujudkan cita-cita tersebut , tetapi novel 5CM juga amanatnya tentnag persahabatan yang menerima apa adanya. Latar cerita dalam novel Edensor di Eropa, sedangkan novel 5CM berlatar di Jakarta. (3) dari hasil kajian intertekstual dapat disimpulkan bahwa novel Edensor merupakan hipogram, sedangkan 5CM merupakan transformasi; (4) nilai pendidikan yang150 SEMNASBAHTERAterkandung di dalam novel Edensor dan 5CM yaitu: nilai pendidikan pantang menyerah dan pekerja keras.
